As there is almost 20% website designers choose WordPress platform for building their website. You can accomplish almost anything you want with WordPress. It also able to support lots of plugins and most of them are totally free for users. And this post today would list the most recommended plugins users use.
1. Content Aware Sidebars
It allows you to create an unlimited number of sidebars (widget areas) for any widget area and assign it to specific pages, posts, categories, and so on. In a nutshell, it basically creates a virtual widget area that replaces the real widget area for the pages you specify.
Once you create a new sidebar, it will show up in the Appearance -> Widgets with all other widget areas.
2. Enhanced Text Widget
The Enhanced Text Widget is a free plugin that enables a more feature-rich text widget for your use. Some of the features supported by the widget include:
*It allows you to hide or show the widget title
*Turn your widget title into a link
*Assign CSS classes to the widget
*Supports text, HTML, PHP, Flash, JavaScript, and Shortcodes
3. WordPress SEO by Yoast
WordPress SEO by Yoast is bar none the best SEO plugin for WordPress. It allows complete control of page titles and meta descriptions on a per page/post basis as well as for each taxonomy.
4. Akismet
Although there are many plugins that help you combat spam, Akismet is one of the best options because it comes with WordPress out of the box and it’s free for personal use.
5. Digg Digg
If you’re not taking advantage of social media for your business yet, it is time to start. The Digg Digg plugin adds a floating box on your website that enables your users to quickly and easily share the page they are on.
It supports all popular social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, and Pinterest.
6. W3 Total Cache
Website caching necessity varies based on your website. Websites that are heavy in images and scripts will see a nice speed improvement from using cache plugins.
W3 Total Cache is a free WordPress plugin that has all the caching features you will need. In fact, they can be a bit overwhelming at first, so it would behoove you to just start slow and test each feature carefully.
7. 404 Redirected
From my experience, business owners don’t monitor their broken links nearly as much as they should. Broken pages present a business and SEO problem for your website. On one hand, your potential customers might leave your website immediately when they see a 404 error, and on the other hand, Google will not pass PageRank to your 404 page.
Conclusion: If you choose a right wordpress theme for your site, many things would become simplier. Maybe you would be interested in this post for Best E-Commerce WordPress Themes.

Steps for Designing a Website.
Many people want to build their own website. Today, I’d love to talk about how to build a website, what you need for building a website. It can be divided in 7 steps.
Okay, let’s begin with the first one — Hosting.
What is hosting? hosting is a place where you can put your website.
Then there are several types of Web hosting options you can choose from:
Free Web hosts
Standard Web hosting
Dedicated, Virtual, and Shared Hosting
Colocation
Secondly: Domain Name
A domain name provides extra branding for your site and makes it easier for people to remember the URL. Just like http://www.google.com, http://www.youtube.com. They could help users to find the site easily and simply.
Thirdly: Plan Your Website
After you’ve got a hosting and demain name, you can start planning your site. You need to decide the following tips:
Type of site – what’s your point for your website?
Navigation – The navigation affects the information architecture of your site.
Content – Content is the actual pages you’ll be building.
Fourth: Build Your Website Pages
There are some knowledge you need to know:
Design Basics – The elements of good design and and how to use it on websites.
Learning HTML – HTML is the building block of a Web page. While it’s not absolutely required, you’ll do better if you learn HTML than if you don’t.
Learning CSS – CSS is the building block of how pages look. And learning CSS will make it easier for you to change your site’s look when you need to.
Web Page Editors – Finding the perfect editor for your needs will help you learn design, HTML, and CSS.
Fifth: Publish Your Website
Publishing your website is a matter of getting the pages you created in step 4 up to the hosting provider you set up in step 1. You can do this with either the tools that come with your hosting service or with FTP clients. Knowing which you can use depends upon your hosting provider. Contact them if you are not sure.

Sixth: Promote Your Website
The easiest way to promote your website is through search engine optimization or SEO. You build your Web content so that it ranks well in search engines. This can be very difficult, but it is inexpensive and can result in good results if you work at it.
Other ways to promote your site include: word of mouth, email, and advertising. You should include your URL on all professional correspondence and whenever it makes sense in personal messages. I put my URL in my email signature along with my email address.
Seventh: Maintain Your Website
Maintenance can be the most boring part of website design, but in order to keep your site going well and looking good, you need to do it. Testing your site as you’re building it and then after it’s been live for a while is important. And you should also work on content development on a regular basis.

Top 3 Tips to Notice for Mobile Web Design.
The amount of people who view websites on mobile is getting larger and larger. It is significant to build a site to completely optimize mobile website. This post today would share you three primary goals for your mobile website design.
Tip 1. Organize
The organization remains crucial to all mobile or large screen website it doesn't matter, when it comes to mobile websites it should be a well-organized.
Site maps do not work as efficiently on mobile websites as they do for desktops because most readers aren't going to click on the site map. Everything about your business or organization must be clearly organized so that readers can access what they need quickly & efficiently.
Make sure the anchor hyperlinks are clearly identifiable, and also differentiate able between the one they visited and not visited, make sure that the links themselves can be easily pressed even though hovers state is not applicable for mobile make sure the user can get a feel when they press it. All buttons and interactive components should be large enough for viewers to select them with their fingers.
Tip 2: Simplify
It's necessary to ensure your user interface is clean and simple as far as possible, the demand for pages completely filled with information is no more now with small screen devices in the hands users look only for the little key information they need, and are not ready to read stories any more.
Simplification speeds up the loading process, and also the data which finally simplifies viewing experience. The best mobile website is the one that gives the reader's information according to the requirement.
Simplification does not mean that you cannot have complex information. All that is needed is to take the complex information and present it in the simplest way. Look for ways to streamline the content and make it easier to absorb. Readers do not spend as much time on mobile websites, particularly when they're assessing it initially.
Tip 3: Contextualize
The contextualization goal of effective mobile web design involves bringing clarity to the mobile web. Make sure that you provide all the information they need to gain a proper understanding. If, for instance, you have a video that you link to on your page, do not simply include the video. Make sure that you include text that gives a brief summary of the video and explains its purpose, so the user can decide whether to watch the video or not. Most importunately do not auto load the video or any multimedia, it can irritate the user in many ways.
The benefit of contextualization is that it allows the reader to quickly engage while at the same time determine whether he is in the right place which can meet his needs. If you can greet him properly, you definitely can convert him to a customer. By having a clear organization with the contextualization, you can also help the reader get to the proper page without the risk of losing him.

Tips for Building a Perfect Website.
While you are preparing for making a website, there are some tips you need to notice to make sure your site can be perfect. Here, we're going to look at the significant tips so you can make your website perfect. It is important for website design.
01. Evaluate, learn, understand
Before you rush off to fire up your favourite graphics or code editor, it's crucial to get your mind thinking in the right way. So notes in hand, I'll cast my mind back to the meeting with the client, look over my notes and the project objectives and think about how the design can achieve them. Personally, I find this process most effective when away from the computer screen.
I read through my notes and evaluate the hell out of them, jotting down every possible solution to the objectives outlined. For example, if the client has asked for a 'calm' or 'relaxing' feel to the website, what could this mean in terms of colour, type, imagery, textures, and whitespace. If it’s believed that the client’s primary target audience are not tech savvy or computer literate, what could this mean with regards to the user experience, functionality and calls to action?
I try to spend as much time as is needed on this task and evaluate as much as possible. Once I'm happy with the stage I've reached, I'll move onto the next phase.
02. Wireframing
Taking into consideration everything discovered in the previous task, the next stage is about wireframing my potential design.
Personally, I prefer to do this all by hand on paper because I find making notes on the wireframe along the way very useful for looking back on. In some circumstances, though, wireframes are discussed with the client prior to designing, in which case translating your wireframe into a digital version can be a better option.
I tend to use Adobe Illustrator for this task but it can be done in any graphics editing program. There are also tools available that are specifically dedicated to this process such as Balsamiq Mockups or Mock Flow app.
It's important to note that wireframes shouldn't just be drawn for browser versions of the site. Think cross-device through the entire process and think about how the elements on the page will work across all devices.
03. Get inspired
I find approaching wireframes with only notions of your evaluations in mind helps me to think clearly about the project. But before I begin to design, I like to seek inspiration from a range of sources.
I'll begin by looking at other websites that achieve similar goals to the brief I've been set. If I see something you like, I don't just copy it but think about how it could have been done better. I also ask: how would my website’s target audience respond to it?
Quite often, designers are inspired a little too literally and often include design features or elements in their project because they like them, not because it was relevant to the project. You shouldn't be thinking about design trends or creating something your peers in the industry will like. It should always be relevant to the project.
Inspiration can also be gained from a customer perspective. For example, if I was designing a website for a jewellery shop, instead of running to Google and searching for 'Best designed jewellery websites', I'd visit an actual jewellery shop. I'd look at the design of the interior, think about the feel I get when you walk in, or how the products are displayed to entice me to buy them.
Inspiration can often come from the most unlikely of places. I usually find the best inspiration away from my computer screen. Designs in the real world can play a major role; architecture, art, product design, photography. Also, the shapes, form and colours throughout nature can provide a great inspirational perspective. Having a camera on me constantly helps me to capture this inspiration.
04. Design and build
By now, I feel like I know this project inside out. My mind is flooded with inspiration and I can't wait to get creative.
I like to design with music on; it helps me cut myself off from any outside distractions and disappear into my own world. I keep all my notes and wireframes by your side and continuously refer back to them.
I also find taking breaks during the design process very useful. Looking at something constantly for eight hours' straight can lead one to think in a single creative direction. In contrast, taking regular breaks and thinking about the design away from your screen can do wonders for the creative mind.

Enjoy Music Video Time: Katy Perry's ROAR Official Video.
I am a big fan of Katy Perry. Having heard almost her all songs inlcuing: Last Friday night, Firework, Teenage Dream, Ur So Gay and so on. Her latest song is Roar and I have waited for the official video for weeks and it finally come. This post I'd like to share the official video of the nice song -- Roar from Katy Perry. In the video, Katy Perry play a role in a Jungle Adventure. Can't wait to take a look? Let's start.
Do you like this song as me? At last, share the lyrics for you.
I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything
You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now
[Chorus]
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me roar
Now I’m floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes
I went from zero, to my own hero
You held me down, but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up
Get ready ’cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now
[Chorus]
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Louder, louder than a lion
‘Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You’re gonna hear me roar
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You'll hear me ROAR
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
You're gonna hear me ROAR...
Roar-or, roar-or, roar-or, roar-or, roar-or

Want to change iPhone 5 to iPhone 5S? Where is the best place for selling?
As it is getting sooner and sooner for the release data for iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5 users want to exchange the iPhone 5 with iPhone 5S. And do you want to know where is the best place for you to sell your iPhone 5 to get more money for buying iPhone 5S. Today, I'd like to show you the price and how to sell your iPhone 5 in different websites. Hope this article could be a little helpful for you. Let's start.
1. Ebay: $230 - $430
How to do it: Selling on eBay is a little bit more difficult this year, because the site has done away with Instant Sell, which let you straight up trade in your phone. Now you've got to auction it off to the highest bidder, with a used 16GB iPhone 5 in good condition going for around $200, and a mint condition phone of the same storage capacity going for around $430.
2. Craigslist: $225 - $500
How to do it: If you go the Craigslist route, you've got to be willing to put in some work weeding out the spammers, scammers, et al. With a little patience, this is probably where you'll get the most cash back, but Craigslist also requires the most effort. But beware—at least on listings in the New York area, we're seeing a lot of spam.
3. Best Buy: $148 - $346
How to do it: Best Buy runs exchanges both online and in its brick-and-mortar stores, although you get a Best Buy gift card in exchange instead of cash. If your 16 GB iPhone is "like new" and you have all of its accessories, Best Buy will give you a gift certificate for $346.50. If it's in good condition, you'll get more like $330. Poor condition? $148.50. It's worth noting that Best Buy will fork over absolutely zero dollars for broken iPhones. RadioShack, Walmart, and several other resellers will give you at least $70 or $80 even if your phone's totally borked.
4. Amazon: $120 - $408
How to do it: The resell process is a little bit different on Amazon now too. You have three options: One, you can fork it over to Amazon for a gift card. Here, you'll say what condition your phone is, whether or not you have accessories, and name the carrier, capacity, and color, and Amazon will give you a flat rate gift card. You'll get up to $377 for a 16GB iPhone on AT&T once you ship Amazon your device. That's down from $390 since Friday, so obviously don't dawdle.
The second choice is to sell your iPhone as an individual seller. Set up an account, answer some questions about your phone and its conditions, and then determine a price. Then you submit your listing, and you'll get an email once your phone has sold. Ship your phone, and once you've confirmed, Amazon will transfer the money to your bank account in 14-21 days. One little issue—we didn't see the iPhone 5 listed anywhere under this section, so that might be a bad sign that they aren't really selling well from individual sellers.
The third option is to sell professionally, but you'd only want to do this if you were selling more than 40 things a month. Which you're not, so don't worry about it.
5. iCracked: $115 - $315
How to do it: iCracked is service that will fix your cracked iPhone screen for fairly cheap. It's also willing to buy your old iPhone for $115 if it's busted and $315 if it's like new. The best part is you can enter in your zip code and one of iCracked's technicians will meet you to make the hand off. Or, you can mail it, and iCracked will PayPal you or send you a check once it receives your iPhone.
6. Walmart: $80 - $315
How to do it: Walmart's trade-in program works pretty much the same as Best Buy's. Designate what condition your phone is in, mail it in, get a gift card. Pristine 16GB iPhone 5S are going for $315 as of today. Phones that aren't working are still earning $80.
This is a good way to go if you're impatient. If you enter all your info today and create a trade-in account, Walmart will PayPal you right away.
7. RadioShack: $72-$300
How to do it: RadioShack will first ask for a brief appraisal of your phone (Does it work? Does it have scratches? Do you have the charger?), then quote you a price. iPhones that don't work are still getting $72, and near-perfect phones are getting $300. After you get your quote, you can choose to trade in your phone in a RadioShack store or mail it in with a prepaid mailing label.
8. Apple: $0 - $336
How to do it: Apple's trade-in program—which is now both online and in stores—will give you an Apple gift card in exchange for your old iPhone. That is, if and only if your device is in really good condition. It can't have any water damage, it can only have a few scratches or scuffs, and it must come with its accessories. Once you get an estimate on your phone, you send it in, and after a few weeks, Apple will mail your credit. The going rate for a 16GB iPhone 5 in peak condition is $336, and iPhones in fair condition will earn you more like $286.
